I am kinda dating this guy, we had a few dates back in July and then we stopped talking because of a misunderstanding that we cleared up. He came over the other night and we were kissing and cuddling and he asked me what i wanted and i said him and he said you have me....we kissed some more and he said tell me what you want and i replied i did, i want you and he said you have me. so what the hell does that mean..i meant i wanted him as in I wanted a relationship with him...i just dont get what he meant.

Well, what DID you want? When a male hears, "I want you," in the situation that you two were in that night, to him, it means, "I am in the mood for sex." But, just in case he thought he might be misunderstanding what you meant, he was trying to clarify it by asking again, "What do you want?" No guy wants to be wrong in assuming that what he heard did NOT mean the girl was asking for sex... You had indicated that you had previously stopped talking "because of a misunderstanding..." This guy probably didn't want to screw things up again by "going for it" and being WRONG in his understanding of what he thought you meant...

But, trust me, he was trying -- nicely -- to confirm whether you were in the mood for sex based on the fact that you said, "I want you" after having kissed and cuddled with him all that time.

So, you said you "wanted a relationship with him"... Does that mean you want to have sex with him? After all, what you two were doing constitutes "foreplay" to a male, and any male would want to go to the next step, which is having sex. And when he hears it in that situation, his "little mind" (overriding his "big mind") naturally believes that's what he's about to get... Ha!

(Guys, am I correct?)

He is thinking you want to be intimate with him and he is ready for you. You should let him know, what you meant when you said you want him, because its not very clear.

what he meant is that you have him where you want him or where you need him to be, he knows you want to date him and he wants to date you.

He means he is YOURS.
The guy I'm dating now says that to me......
He'll say "can I get you anything" or "do you want something?"
and I say "you"
and he says "you've got me."
It means he want you in a relationship.
