Smoking anything is unhealthy. It also causes lack of concentration, memory loss. I have lived with a pot smoker for twenty years so I know what I'm talking about.

Guess what . I am an addictions counseller and I strongly believe education is important. In a short answer. Yes.
There are alot of natural things that can harm you such as snake venom etc.
Here are some ways that marijuana use can harm you:
To get the maximum effect, people who smoke marijuana often inhale more deeply and hold the smoke in their lungs longer than tobacco smokers do. This increases the risk of cancer.
Smoking marijuana irritates your lungs and has been linked to chronic cough and bronchitis. It may also make asthma worse.
In people at high risk of developing schizophrenia, marijuana may bring on symptoms earlier.
If you're pregnant, the more marijuana you smoke, the more likely your baby will have problems (such as being too small).
Using a lot of marijuana for a long time may make it harder to pay attention, remember things and learn.
Large doses of marijuana can lead to “toxic psychosis.” This can cause people to hallucinate (see or hear things that aren’t really there), become paranoid (feel like people are out to get them) and believe things that aren’t true. These symptoms usually disappear within a week after the person stops using marijuana.
Marijuana that you buy illegally may contain other drugs, or harmful pesticides or fungus.
You may make decisions while using marijuana that you regret later.
Marijuana affects your co-ordination and makes it harder to concentrate and react. This makes it dangerous to do things like ride a bicycle, drive a car or operate machinery.
Fast facts
There are at least 400 chemicals in marijuana.

Yes. Not only do you get the cancer risk on much the same level as smoking tobacco but the drugs contained in cannabis have damaging effects on most of your bodily organs.
However, the most serious effect of smoking cannabis is the long-term and irreversible damage to your mental health. Pot smokers stand a much higher risk of suffering mental illnesses like paranoia, delusions, depression and schizophrenia.
Just because something is natural doesn't mean it is not harmful. Snake venom is natural but you wouldn't inject it into your arm, would you?

Smoking anything is not healthy. Taking a codeine pill from the doctor is also not healthy. Eating can be unhealthy, going to the bathroom in a outhouse with a rattlesnake can be unhealthy too!
Anything in moderation can be OK, but to much is just that.
One has to make up there own mind at which devices they choose, it be smoke, food, alcohol etc.
Oh also is this for entertainment or pain management?

While pot is all natural, the method in which you light the pot to make it smoke is not. Inhaling lighter fluid is not healthy. In fact, any type of smoke is unhealthy for lungs.
Click on this link for more information on its effects to the heart, lungs and other effects on the body.

Although it is natural it can have serious side affects. It alters your ability to think clearly. Also the same as cigarettes it can increase your risk of lung cancer. There are other side affects as well including increased appetite. You should be able to pick up a brochure about the affects at your local police department or drug prevention center.

At least for men, it makes them impotent and have reduced testosterone over time. Also, lungs can get clogged.
