I love making unique original scrapbooks. Unfortunately, I can't make a scrapbook for everything in my life. Friends have told me that I should make scrapbooks for other people who want them but may not have a creative mind or the time. Would you pay for someone to make you a cool way of displaying your treasured moments? If so how much do you think is reasonable?

I know how to figure out what to charge, I'm asking what the maximum amount you would pay for one. Considering you like it and yada yada.

My wife does this in her free time and she has gotten $100+ for a single book... It all depends how big you want it and how detailed. I own a lazer cutter so she can design all of her own stamps and peper designs with CorelDraw and then cut them out for her books..

I think that would have to be based on the materials you had to buy, the time you put into it and any extras would have to be charged. If you want to make a profit, you'll have to set a limit on how much to spend on each job. Smaller jobs, require less work and supplies, therefore would be cheaper. Makes sense, yes it does.
So what I would do is break down what size books you are willing to make (i.e. small book is $a, medium book is $b, large book is $c) From there I would have the client pick out what they want in it and change them X amount per add on (i.e. each sticker is $d, each paper cut out is $e)
And of course, offer discounts and free things to keep people happy. Price things so you AT LEAST break even, though I'm sure you know profit is good.
I think that this hobby is more fun if they do it themselves. Maybe teach or offer a workshop to show them how to fit it into their busy lives? I dunno how well this will all work for ya, but good luck.

I think scrapbooking is more of a hobby all in its own so the fun of having one is actually making one.

I would pay. It depends on your work, the size of the project, and the costs of materials.
