a curse and spells only works if that person who the curse is being done on believes it. if it worked any other way there would be a lot of rich witches in this world.

Sometimes it is the belief in curses and hexes that makes them seem to "work". A belief in a hex may cause someone to have a psychosomatic illness in the form of headaches. Once the person realizes this, their headaches will probably go away.
Sometimes an occultist will take advantage of a situation, and claim to be the cause of someone's misfortune. Example: someone dies, the occultist will claim they had put a hex on the person and caused it, even though they never did. People will believe it though, and fear the occultist has some kind of power. . Some occultists call this "glamor" or "lesser black magic". What it really is, is just plain lying.
It's rare that anyone who claims to be in the occult can actually produce results. A Christian who has Jesus has nothing to fear from spells and hexes. I occasionally get an email from someone who says they've hexed me and I'm going to go insane or die, etc, but they never succeed.

Voodoo and curses are very really, and an attempt should be done with full knowledge of what you're getting yourself into. It's not something to simply do out of spite, or something to be taken lightly.
Oh, and I know from personal experience that it works whether the receiver believes in it or not.

I practice Vodou and we do not believe in curses. Bokors who are said to practice with both hands (good and bad) are the ones that throw curses. They are not practitioners of Vodou at all. Believing in a curse depends solely on the culture and area you grew up in. Those that live in Haiti fully believe that they can be cursed by a Bokor. However I live in the US and I don't believe in curses. My opinion curses are not real. They are used to scare people and that is all. The person will become so scared that they in fact cause the curse to come to fruition.
http://madame.faithweb.com/psychictarot.html I just looked at this website and this person is a fraud when it comes to Vodou. No one can perform a ritual over the internet. The purpose of the ritual is make contact with the lwa. This contact is made when a servitor becomes possessed by the specific lwa you are trying to contact. If you are not present how can the lwa speak with you. If she is a fraud with Vodou then she is probably a fraud with psychic readings.

I once had someone who practices voodoo, and I live in New Orleans, take a picture of someone I had a major problem with, she burned a consecrated black candle, with her pic under it. and chanted some stuff. less than a week later she totaled her boyfriends truck and was nearly killed, then her daughter moved out and in with her grandmother 2 days later, and the police put out a bench warrant on her for failure to appear, all in a weeks time, she put a revenge curse on her, you tell me??

They only work if the person who is being cursed believes. Otherwise, trust me, George Dubya would have been dead a lot time ago.... or eaten by locusts.... or covered in boils.... or whatever....

Magic is real, if that is what you are asking. but i wouldn't do any magic if i were you, it serious and if you don't know what you are doing it could backfire on to anybody in the world and be a disaster. also don't listen to the others (no offense) 99% they don't know what there talking about, it has nothing to do with believing or not. cant say know more, its not good luck nor healthy to talk about it.

Don't even think about messing with that stuff. The source of power for that stuff is Satan. By doing that you follow him. He isn't there for you even if he tells you that he is. His purpose is to "...steal and kill and destroy..." John 10:10
