I would like to collect different plates until I have and entire 8 person dish "set". However I would like the plate to be same or similar in diameter...so hence the question

i think it's 10", but i 'm not sure.
go to some catalog sites (crate and barrel, e.g) and look through their dishware section and see what sizes they offer.
i love the eclectic look, too!
