depends on the girl....
if she confesses her sin to God and asks for forgivness the sin will be wiped clean, we only need ask God once but it can take a lifetime to forgive ourselves.
abortion does not liberate women, abortion does not remove tissue, a blob, a cluster of cells, it is a violent act that destroys a real baby

I think that they probably need to look for a new religion. This is not to say that what they have done is a sin against God, but that it is against the beliefs of Catholisism. If you go against the religion, I think you are not in it.

I think that it would be tough enough to have to go through such a horrible ordeal and the mental, emotional and physical anguish that it would cause should be enough.

I believe you will still be loved by God.

most churches don't expel you for it, but it is a sin and should be repented of so you can grow spiritualy and have healing from any physical and emotional setbacks from it. the churchr even catholics should have ministries available to help girls in crisis..

I don't think that abortion is a sin if it's within the first trimester, before the fetus has a heartbeat.

Nothing happens to them. If they ask for forgiveness, in an act of contrition, they are forgiven.

She must go to confession to confess her sin, but God will forgive her. She lives with her guilt. We don't brand them or throw them out.
