There ois a lot of difference between romance, love and friendship...
Romance need not be friendship and friendship need not be romance... if you connect them both, they are, but otherwise there's a great difference and I dont agree that friendhip is the best way of romance... I would rather say Love is the best way of Romance

You can be 'best friends' with someone, even after you're married to someone else. And that closness can be stronger than some marriages. But I wouldn't call it romantic. Romance should be reserved for the relationship, not friendship. If you feel romantic about your friend, it may be that you need to take it more seriously.

Friendship and love go hand in hand. To truly love someone, you have to be their best friend, but usually the lust part comes first and the friendship grows from it. It can work just as well the other way round though, providing your friend feels the same way

Yes! Well it can be the best way for romance to develop...case in point, me and my Man.
Friends for 3 years, together now for 4 months. I love him like I've always felt and knew I loved him and now I get to express it!

Yes, I think so. A friendship can be everlasting, just as the ideal romance.
You must be a romantic to be asking such a beautiful question...
Cheers, my friend ;)

Absolutely the best! When the two of you aren't friends, it seems to be more of a power struggle and more about who is controlling who. My husband is my best friend.
