I would say it would depend on the cereal. It needs to be unsweetened, whole grain, and full of fiber.

Well, it depends how many calories are in the other cereal. Special K has fiber in it and fiber makes you poop; which is a good thing. Raisin Brand is a good diet cereal too; or Kix. I wouldn't suggest cocoa puffs or cinnamon toast crunch though.

No. The whole point is because Special K is healthy. Eat with with Fat Free milk or Hood or Silk and replace 3 meals a day with it along with daily exercise. I think it works.

As long as the calories/fat content are the same, which almost all are. The main advantage to the Special K diet is portion control.

It's a bowl of specific okay for breakfast, one for lunch and a sensible dinner. But, they mean a right serving. So you ought to read the side of the field and spot what dimension they say a serving is. Probabilities are, it can be rather a lot much less then what you generally pour for yourself.

you need a well balanced diet. not 3 meals a day of pure carbs.
your body will just store that away as fat.
eat healthy and do moderate exercise daily and you will see a difference.

Grape nuts with a scoop of vanilla protein and skim milk. Egg white omelettes, steel cut oats. I'd look at any of those first.
