Why does it seem that christians who claim to pride themselves on not judging, seem to judge the most? Why is it that christians are the ones telling everyone else they are wrong and are going to hell for not believing as they do (when some of us dont even believe in hell), yet i see the wiccans and muslims and so forth are much more accepting of other peoples beliefs?

Most Christians I know are such HUGE hypocrites! I feel like they think that they are holier-than-thou because they "have God's forgiveness" and they think that they are helping people by bringing crap to their attention.

I don't know what I believe in. I don't know if I believe if God is real or not. I do believe that people should not judge other people. Humans are going to be who they are... no matter what anyone says to them.

I feel like the bible is just a book of rules made so that people know the difference between right and wrong. In the bible, there isn't enough room in heaven for everyone anyway, so why should a hord-core Christian try to change someone, that person they convert just may take their spot beyond the pearly gates!

On the note of other religions being more accepting, I think it's because they have a different book of rules to follow. Just look at the hard-core Muslims.... they are NOT accepting of anyone! They think that violence is the end that justifies the means.

Well its really a mind illusion, if you think about it not only christians are judgemental but the non believers are judgemental also, you must remember that christians are still human to, just like the non believers, all men are created equal, just because a person is a christian doesnt mean that that christian will be perfect, christians have their down falls to. Muslims will accept any religions that doesnt believe in christianity beliefs, muslims hate christianity, and are not accepting of the christianity religion, if you dont believe in god or the christianity beliefs then muslims will be accepting with any religion that you might belive in.

Do not see how you figure that when the first thing they require is rejection of any form of religion/belief.

Christians from the scriptures are taught not to judge the sins of others rather your own.....but for some reason, when folks get ready to bash they attack the christians who are showing the same things shown to them from the scriptures.

None of us care to hear that we are not as good as we feel we are but face it - when you look inside to the real you - that noone else sees - we are a different person.
Most likely not someone we are the least bit proud of....this is the same person the scriptures tell us to look at ..... righteousness as filthy rags.
We are judged by God by this merit.........He is color blinded - black/sin......red/covered by the blood of Jesus.

So instead of beating up on someone else - what is your color today before the One who is the only legitimate Judge?

That all depends on what you mean by judgmental. If i tell you that your wrong for lets being homesexual, would you consider that me judging you? If that what your considering judgemental than thats propably where your problem lies. The bible gives clear right and wrongs and if you are in one of those wrongs than why would you consider it being judgemental to tell you so? I dont judge you because God already has made the judgment on whats right or wrong, all I do is reiterate what he has already decided?

On a anothet thought if you are feeling judged it may just be guilt because you know your in the wrong...think about it.

In my opinion, Christians are no more judgemental than anyone else. They are merely humans just like everybody else. Do you expect them to be perfect? They don't expect you to be.

This board is proof enough....I see people attacking Christians on here all the time. Why aren't you asking questions about those people?

Muslims are more accepting of other religions? Under Muslim law, called Sharia, it is a capital crime to convert from Islam to another religion. At Least Christians only say you are going to Hell, they don't attempt to send you to Hell.

Don't you watch the news?

Christians SHOULD never judge individuals. There are many that do, and I think this is wrong and not based in the Bible. However, Christians SHOULD judge sin as sin. There is a difference in saying something is sin and someone is a sinner.
Only God can decide on who a sinner is and isn't, that is not our place.
