WAS he a virgin ?
then if u have had s*x together , u can tell him that the last time was not that good (normal for virgins) and this time u've got great plans.
dont just tell but also plan somethin.
IF hes still a virgin and feels uncomfortable to be with u :
give him indications that u r also not willing to have s*x right away but wd prefer to wait for somemore time.
And on top of it if u r shy :
make some doc tell him what u had to convey.

If he uis a virgin then he is worried about ahving sex and messin it up then maybe u dumping him,, speak 2 him and reassure him that u will understand if u make love and its not 2 good,, maybe u could teach him
