5 yrs old - must have parent present at the gate and they will give the child a badge with their name and the person who is picking up the child(ren) - The parent must write down the person's driver's license number on it ... The badge will be worn around the child(ren)'s neck like a necklace (its long) and the information will be hidden so the other people won't look at it ... The flight attendance will guide the child(ren) to the gate when they land and will not release the child(ren) to the person until the person shows their drivers license.

My child flew alone when she was 10 and the service was GREAT! ... I made sure the person that picked up my child called me when she got my child.

I recommend a non-stop flight for child(ren) under the age of 14 unless you have relatives in other states and I recommend you try to have the child(ren) fly to that city before flying to another city. (FOR EXAMPLE: I have my child fly to Las Vegas before flying to another city cuz I have a relative and friends living there in case of emergency!)
