I'm actually doing something right now. I eat yogurt in the AM, have a snack of a piece of cheese and an apple around 9:30, eat lunch then have like a half a protein bar and a piece of cheese around 2:30-3:00. then eat dinner. If I have a late night craving, I eat an apple.

The cheese is a low fat cheese (ie Laughing Cow Light).

I am exactly the same way! I don't follow what seems to be a vegetarian diet though. From my personal experience, meat doesn't make me feel full at all, carbs always cure the hunger pangs for me. If you are following a vegetarian diet, I would eat some beans because they are full of good carbs and protien. That should calm your urges down a little bit.

When I am bored and feel hungry, I always drink ice water or iced tea. If I still feel hungry, I more than likely am, and will have something very small, like a slice of cheese or a handful of popcorn.

BUT, when you crave sugars (sounds like you are because you want cookies and ice cream), that is actually a sign that you are protein deprived.

I'm the same way. No matter how full I am I have to have something sweet after I eat dinner. Usually I start craving chocolate or chocolate chip cookies. I would say that you should treat yourself, especiallly since you seem to be eating so healthy during the day.

You need to eat some meat for a "real" full effect. If your body was actually full you wouldn't always feel the urge to eat something else. If your a vegetarian, I don't know what to tell you, I could never understand how they get full. For us the meat makes the meal.

coffee is a good appetite suppressant. also foods high in fiber will make you full so you don't want to eat that much. Generally you want to eat a cereal that has more than 8 grams of fiber per serving.
