yeah, I agree with the wolf guy and also the reasoning that soul can't be simply measured by the five senses. Just like how the origin of the word may have come from simply spontaneous contemplation or it may have come from some sort of divine revelation. In that moment, your sense of limitations are suspended so no thought of measure is applicable in that sense.

Another answer is that you have proof of your soul. Another person can't really prove to a blind man that a certain phenomon based on sight alone exists. You can use concensus theories, but that's not really evidence for a simple blind man (no offense btw intended to the visually impaired, just for the sake of example) Many saints and sages have proved to themselves the existence of a soul, god or something beyond the two notions of the mind. They have explained in many simple and elaborate ways their experiences but sometimes it's simply ''good advice going to deaf ears'' take care bud.

Christians have a totally whacky idea of what the 'soul' is supposed to be. For the Jews of that time... including Jesus... the 'soul' was an enveloping emanation from the godhead that resulted from the community's relationship with god. The soul as a component of a human being (Christian view) is an artifact of Greek thinking on 'dualism'... which was incorporated into Christian dogma and lore by Gentile theologians, who were ignorant of Jewish (and Jesus') concept of 'soul'.

So... apart from the fact that all of this stuff is mythological nonsense, anyway... everyone's worries about what happens to their personal 'soul' are of no consequence... it does not exist.

Yeah I think there is an audio lecture of a proof for a soul in a 5 part series on the site below.

I haven't listened to them yet so I don't know how good they are but I have listened to other lectures hes given some in person and he is extreamly good.

that is one of those things that can be known by an individual...but can not be proven to anyone who dose not already know... The proof of The immortal soul comes with the assurance of Salvation. Which is given to all who come to God in The Way He proscribes

I accept email questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith. All honest seekers are welcome to ask.

No the existence of a soul cannot be proved YET. But, did anyone had proof of X-rays in 1500? no, but now we can prove their existence...

No, but I have another question. Does anyone have a rigorous definition of soul. To me it's just another four letter word, which people use, but no one knows what they mean by it. Until you can define it, it is kind of pointless to ask if you can prove it.

Yes, pinch yourself,...you are alive because your soul is still in your physical body. What about when someone hurts your feelings or a loved one passes away, Where do you feel all these emotions?

There's not a shred of evidence, let alone proof, yet people continue to subbornly believe in such nonsense.

Nope.

In fact, the believers can't even agree on a definition. It's one thing when they want to claim to have evidence for it, and then another thing entirely when they want to use it to support magical thinking.
