Since you have a bachelors degree you may be able to get a commission as an officer. What you need to do is contact an Air Force recruiter and ask about applying for a commission. The competition is tough, and you may need to lose some weight before you start OTS, but it's possible. You have until age 35 to earn a commission, so if you're looking to make a change I recommend you do it now. Besides, you may even be able to get the Air Force to pay for your Masters thesis.

I am an officer in the Navy, but the rules apply to all recruiters. If you want to join, go to an officer recruiter. With your degree in hand, you are eligible to go to Officer Candidate School. There aren't as many officer recruiters as enlisted recruiters. Don't listen to what the enlisted recruiters will tell you about having to be an enlisted first. I did and spent two wonderful years as an enlisted before I got my commission. Not necessary, but did provide some useful tools. Rememer, though, that it is all about a numbers game. If you don't like what that recruiter is offering, see another. Sometimes they have specific billets to fill, and another one down the road may have something different to offer. Also, if they say they don't have room right now (highly unlikely) try again the following month. Good luck.

You can go in as an officer, but it won't be really easy. Especially in the Air Force that just cut a lot of officers. Talk to a recruiter asap.

The AF is really only taking officers in the technical career field. We are over manned in out service right now and I beleive its close to 3000 officers they are trying to get rid of.
Just talk to your recruiter and go from there....

A BS would have been better than a BA
But yes, there is a recruiter near you that would love nothing more than to talk.
In fact it would make his day ! ! !
