Paul spoke against women teaching men and gave a reason why - "Adam was not the one deceived." This is in 1st Timothy 2:12. I believe that if a woman should pastor a church God would not have said this in His Word.

As a women myself, I know that
It is not biblical for a women to be a Pastor.
Found in 1 Timothy 2: 11-15.

And a lot of women pastor's will argue that oh that's just for biblical day's. But everything else around that scripture we are suppose to obey but not that verse. But I disagree. We are suppose to obey everything in the New Testament even that verse. Not just Protestant churches but all churches the bible states.

"Pastor" is a title which implies that the woman would have FULL DECISION MAKING POWER over the church body that God supposedly placed her in charge of. This would not be a principle that is consistent with Biblical teaching.

Let us ponder, however, if a woman is allowed to "TEACH" in the church. Yes she is allowed to teach other WOMEN and CHILDREN ONLY.

She is also to have a "Covering" over her while she is doing that teaching, that being a MALE LEADER in the church, most often the PASTOR himself. His role as a "covering" would be to

1. Know what it was she was teaching and if it was consistent with Biblical teachings.

2. To pray for her that she would always be led by the Lord in her thought, word and deed. and

3. To teach her that she might be better equiped to teach other women and children.

There is a Biblical exception, believe it or not as there were examples of men who were to go into battle, but were too scared. I believe it was DIANA who then TOOK THE LEAD and accompanied the Soldiers to the battle and then the battle was won. SHE HAD TO RISE UP WHERE THERE WAS NO MAN TO LEAD.

There is also the example of Noah's wife who because Noah was not leading his family and performing the circumcision on their son that SHE HAD TO RISE UP AND LEAD WHERE HER HUSBAND WOULD NOT. She performed the circumcision and called her husband a "Miserable husband."

In order to have "ORDER" in anything there must be a heirarchy and for what ever reason (Because there are many thoughts on this) God placed;

1. Himself over the church and
2. Men over church fellowships Pastor, board of directors, etc... along with
3. Servants of Christ (being other men, women and children) who are of course being overseen by their church leaders.

No it is not biblical. Women are not to have authority over the men in church.
Preachers are to be the husband of one wife, a woman can't be the husband.
If you check it out you will find a woman started many of the false doctrines that are around today.

Therapists bypass to different therapists while they choose therapy. do no longer pastors bypass to different pastors while choose of non secular suggestion? additionally, you do no longer point out in the journey that your denomination is trinitarian or no longer, yet while that is, then you definately won't be able to fairly take that quote actually. If God/Jesus/HolySpirit are all co-equivalent, than whether you're making the analogy that God is the top, it does not follow that the top is often in cost. especially situations we are lead by ability of our hearts (and especially situations by ability of our stomachs and factors south, whether that isn't be a sturdy element). a guy and woman may well be an entire unmarried physique in marriage, yet while the guy is the top, and the girl is the coronary heart, they the two have situations to lead and the two have instructions to instruct one yet another.

The reason that Paul said that women should be silent in church was because at that time women were given no education and actually had no clue what they were talking about when they asked questions in church. Today, however, things are completely different. Women are free to have the same education as any man, and should be allowed to hold any position that a man can. And like someone else mentioned...there is neither male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus.

It doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that women can't be pastors! I think it would help a lot, there's a big shortage in pastors.
