Jesus answered this question when He said...
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Yes, I am Baptist but I do believe in being baptized in the name of Jesus, because the father son and holy ghost are all titles, and the only name given in which there is any power is Jesus Christ. Do not misunderstand, baptism has nothing to do with being saved, but it an outward show of your new life as a child of God. Secondly, there is no place in the bible where anyone was baptized in the three titles they were all baptized in the name of Jesus. There are three in the God Head, but these three are one.

IN John's baptism he did baptize in Jesus name, he was setting the stage for what must come later on. Was JOHN in the kingdom of or out of the kingdom???? He was out ,, Christ had not yet died on the cross. JESUS did not tell us to be baptized in his name.. He told us to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the HOLY GHOST. we are to believe the word of Christ above the word of a man,, When John was in prison he forgot ALL THAT he heard and saw Christ do, and he sent his men to ask the Lord, are you the one we should follow, or should we look for some one else. Christ told them, go and tell John all he wonderful things you have seen and heard... so we are to listen to EVERY single word that comes out of the mouth of Jesus Christ he is the author of our SALVATION, JOHN WAS A GREAT MAN,no man ever born of a woman was greater than JOHN;;; but the LEAST in the kingdom of God is greater than he.these are the TRUE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST, not mine, not John the BAPTIST, HE EVEN TOLD US TO FOLLOW CHRIST,and NOT him...

Hi h---ghost,
I can't seem to make sense out of your question. Maybe its in the wording, but it goes beyond me.
You start your question with do we believe in the baptism in Jesus Christ Name and then list Scripture references. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. When you say Jesus,(Yashua) you are saying Yahaveh Saviour. That's God. So when you baptize someone in Jesus Name you are baptizing in the Name of God.><>

Brother,This is just a wild guess but I am perceiving that you are Oneness and are trying to ask rhetorical questions in a blatant attempt to undermine us Trinity believers faith. When you come to know the Lord for real than you will understand what Jesus meant at Matthew 28:19..We will pray for you.

The Lord Himself says in John that men ought to know He exists,
Unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins. John 8:24.

I agree. There's no reason to be baptized if it's not in His name.
