you can go to the movie anytime, family to me is more important, besides your nephew will love you for it, and with hope your boyfriend will understand.

The bottom line is your sister should have confimed that you would still watch your nephew! Telll your sister that you are sorry about this misunderstanding! set up another day to spend with your nephew and make sure nothing comes up to ruin that plan! You sound like a caring aunt and your sister is lucky to have a great sister!!

You shouldn't fell to terribly bad. You should have been more specific that you would love to watch him on your days off when you had nothing else planned. Like if you know the night before all the cleaning is done, no lunch or movie dates have been made, etc. that your day is free and you have an adventure planned for the both of you.

I'm sorry, but yes you should feel bad... Because it's like you're putting your boyfriend before your family, yeah you're grown and you shouldn't have to deal with the responsibility of taking care of someone elses child, but you offered (true enough she should have given you a heads up) but you're family and you can go to the movies any other day

no. feel used. your sister should have given you some advance warning that she would be coming by on Monday with the nephew. showing up on your doorstep like that means she has no respect for you and that her life is more important than yours.

the only person who can make you feel like an a $$ is you. so stop doing it.

No you shouldn't feel bad. Your sister needs to be responsible in asking you in advance to watch your nephew. She can't just decide one morning to bring him over.

NO, but wait a while and call and apologize.
You had already made plans and they are wrong to expect you to drop everything for them.
Tell them that if they will give you a heads up in the future you would love to help out!
Good luck and don't worry so much!

Yes, you are one. I am surprised you have a boyfriend! And unless your sister is a stupid and selfish as you I would not expect to see her or the nephew anytime soon. Get a life and try to stop dumping on all your friends and family.

If you love your nephew that much cleaning and movies can take a break. I don't exactly think you should feel like an a**hole... just adjust your priorities.

nope, u shouldn't feel like an ***hole, they have to understand that ur in a relationship and u have a life too, its not ur fault that ur sister got pregnat and had a kid, its her responsibility...but i guess that maybe she needed the favor, just be honest and tell her that u had already planned the whole day out, she should have asked u before
