That one's easy -- AIR FORCE, HANDS DOWN. Been in for 16 years myself, and all my colleagues in the other four branches of the service have ALL said the same thing: "Man, I wish I joined the Air Force!" The Air Force only takes the best of the best and once you put on the blue uniform you're treated better and taken care of better than the other branches of the service. Our facilities are better, our programs for our people are better, and our morale is better than any of the others -- that's why well over half of the people who join the Air Force stay in past their initial 4 to 6 year commitment (as compared to the Navy, which is less than 40%). If you're planning to be a judge advocate (attorney), see if you can get into a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program -- if you're selected, the Air Force pays for you to go to school and in return you take one ROTC course per semester and participate in the ROTC program over the summer. Great way to get a college education for free.

Navy. No bias, but Navy is more versatile than any military branch. The racial diversity is great and you get to meet people from different countries who also joined the Navy. This will help you to better understand the nature and culture of foreign people. Plus, the Navy gives you the oppurtunity to go overseas more often than any other military branch. This kind of oppurtunity is also useful for an aspiring president of the US since it will help you to better understand the culture of many countries.
Become a US President unlike any other.

sarge927 just made an excellent argument FOR the Air Force:
"Air Force gets the best looking bases, lowest deployment time, treat people better(when u make a mistake they just talk, and army/marines you will get yelled at). "
If you like 1 year deployments, join the Army or Marine Corp. Im biased, Im an Air Force JAG. However, I know Navy, Army, Marine, and Coasty JAGs - they all love their jobs. Its a great career choice, whichever branch you decide.

nonetheless being military, it really is what i'd pass with. each and every branch has that's united statesand downs. The mentor application for military is tremendous and there is a huge variety of travelling. I got here in unmarried and am now married and my husband is in Japan right this moment. a number of his battalion is in South Korea, San Clemente, and different parts of Japan. There are also human beings from my base on deployment to Kuwait, Afghanistan, the Bahamas, Africa, Spain, and leaving next week for Iraq. in case you probably did be certain military and also you're prepared to wrestle, yet do not opt to be at the front strains, there is the Seabee's. it really is a structure battalion the position we pass remote places to rebuild or in homeport we help out with rebuilding issues down the following that were destroyed in Katrina. Deployment is 6 months and homeport is being replaced the start of next year to three hundred and sixty 5 days. i visit't allow you to recognize lots about the Air stress in view that i do not understand every person in that branch, yet i understand they do have a similar application. strong success along with your decision.

sarge927: People who say they wished they had gone to the Air Force are the people who just want an easy, civilian-like life. They just want an easy way out. But people who want a challenge, like ME, will join either Army or Marines and they WILL get a challenge. Air Force gets the best looking bases, lowest deployment time, treat people better(when u make a mistake they just talk, and army/marines you will get yelled at). Air Force is basically a 9-5 job. If that's what you want, then go for it.

Well you have very great aspirations! I would have to tell you that in order to make the correct choice you should compare the two side by side. Make a pro's and con's list of each and see which one will benefit you more. Maybe get some help from a recruiter from each organization to help with your decision. Ask them why they chose the path that they did and see if that can help direct you.
