We're supposed to smell like God (giggle)!!!

"Praise of God the Creator:
Once more I will set forth my theme to shine like the moon in its fullness! Listen my faithful children; open up your petals, like roses planted near running waters. Send up the sweet odor of incense, break forth in blossoms like the lily. Send up the sweet odor of your hymn of praise; bless the Lord for all he has done!"

In asserting which you think you may keep "Jewish custom," do you mean staring on the Torah (first 5 books of Moses)? if so, please remember that the Torah replaced into in trouble-free terms given to the Jewish people - so till you experience forced to connect the Jewish people and resign your Christian ideals, you're no longer commanded to maintain the Torah. apart from, the Torah explains that a Jew would be seen as righteous in striving to serve the G-d of Israel and retaining all the commandments defined in the Torah. there is not any point out of being required to have self belief that the messiah will come to die for the sins of the international. The Christian faith isn't nicely matched with the Torah. That being mentioned, i will understand your activity in staring on the Torah. i replaced into actual accompanied and raised a Christian. once I better a love for the Torah, I initially planned to have self belief in Jesus on the same time as adhering to the dissimilar Jewish commandments. curiously, G-d had different plans, and that i got here across myself strongly forced to go away Jesus altogether and connect the Jewish people.
