I've been really impressed with Thomas a'Kempis 'Imitation of Christ' and I'd like to find more works like this. Thanks.

You can find wonderful reading in "The Confessions of St. Augustine"...also Thomas Aquinas and any writings by G.K. Chesterton (referred to as the Apostle of Common Sense) by Dale Ahlquist. Spirituality is also excellent in the writings of Pope John Paul II, can be obtained from the Vatican web site Library and I highly recommend "Theology of the Body" by him.

The guys that are t.v. preaching ...marching up and down the platform and never explaining the deep things of the Scriptures....they are definitely OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE as I have known for at least 25 years. I give them a simple question like why God allows suffering and they have no answer. The bigger picture is now unfolding!
Its not a matter of power....it is ?????? Pay attention class. You will see the answer in the book What Does The Bible Really Teach? Chapter # 3 Look for it soon to be at your Door.

Anything by C.S. Lewis, especially the Chronicles of Narnia (usually seen as kids books rather than theological, but there is actually a whole lot in there for adults too).
I also really enjoyed Randy Alcorn's Heaven

I like C. S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters". It truly is an interesting discourse of Christianity, but seen through the point of view of demons.

If I have to go outside the scripture, I guess that would be music. I love the works of Don Fransisco... His forgiven album is the best... Jim
