It sounds like an allergic reaction - GET HIM TO THE VET NOW.
Otherwise, you're risking his life.

Ive got a rottweiler and he got stung by a wasp and his face swelled up considerably on one side where the wasp got him, it was the size of a golf ball where the sting was, it took 3 days to go down back to normal, just keep a close eye on him for any other symptoms,
a trip to the vets may be necessary if things persist
in my case it was a allergic reaction to a wasp sting.

Has he been stung by anything? My dog got stung by a bee on his tail and it was huge!! My friends dog got stung on her muzzle and it all swelled up with running eyes etc.Have you changed anything ie bedding, what you wash the bedding in, food? Has he been sniffing at any plants that you suspect have been treated with insectiside? Has a cat scratched him or a dog nipped him...are his teeth ok?If the swelling persists it would be wise to pop along to the vet and get it checked out.

You are lucky he is still alive. You should never wait and see, with a sick pet. If it is some kind of allergic reaction his throat could have swelled up too and suffocated him! A simple antihistamine injection might have stopped this. You MUST take him to the vet right away or you could find a dead dog in the morning.

Would you wait to see if the swelling in your face went down before you saw a doctor???
I would call the vet immediately.....it needs to be evaluated by a vet so that you know what your dealing with.

Don't wait take your dog to a vet. Would you want your mom to wait to take you to the Dr. if somethen like this happen to you? It could have been bitten by somethen or be allergic to somethen. I had a chihuahua that this happened to and it was bitten by a snake & died before we got her to the vet. Yes, we took her as soon as she came in the house like that. So get your dog to the VET.

Why post here???
Get it to the vets!
If he is in need of attention writing here for miracle cures isn't gonna happen at worst someone who know s nothing will tell you to give you dog something that would potentially kill it!
If you was in pain and need to go to hospital would you stop here first and type for advise? I think you'd get checked out!

Might be that your dog has been stung and/or is having an allergic reaction. You should call your vet and get the dog in to see him/her as soon as possible.
