When I was 10 years old, I went to Sunday School at a Christian church. We went into the regular mass for communion. I wasn't saved (baptized), so I was expected to abstain. They all looked at me in horror and disbelief when I took communion, along with them. I did it on purpose.

I use the Lord's name in vain and I have talked down to Jesus.

Andy F*, It was a Christian church and there was communion and all kinds of xtians always talk about being saved which means: "Have you been baptized and given your heart to Jesus." I'm sorry your world is so small.

You might want to rephrase your question. If somebody stopped you from walking in front of a moving car,you would thank them for warning you, right? Not accuse them of threatening you.Which is what christians are trying to do,when they tell you about Jesus, they are simply trying to warn you so you don't go to hell.Though I know there are Christians out there who would say you are going to hell, which is wrong[unkind and downright mean]they are just stating a fact.If you are not saved you will go to hell.
And by the way the baptism does not equal salvation. All you have to do is believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins,so you could go to heaven and accept him as your saviour. As for abstaining from communion, you are supposed to be saved and supposed to be right with the lord before partaking.
I 'm guessing the church you were at was catholic?I am surprised that A child of ten would already be rebelling against God or were you rebelling against something else or someone else?
Using the Lord's name in vain is nothing to be proud of.And it is impossible to talk down to Jesus!Badmouthing him, sure. That you are bragging about it makes me really sad.
Are you going to hell? You aren't dead yet,so it's not too late! But if you continue on the way you are going,it looks that way.
I'm sure this is not the answer you wanted and I am sorry if it offends you but I had to say something.

For Andy: Many Protestant churchs offer communion and you have to be baptized and experience some form of being "saved" in all Christian faiths.

Anyway, Limendoz, just have faith in God and love people. Think about how your actions will affect others in everything single thing you do. This will help you make good choices. I think that's really all there is to it. Christianity is fundamentally about love. Ignore the "Christians" who like to look down on you and judge you. That is not God-like at all. In fact, it is hateful.

It is not a threat, just God's truth. Without the Lord Jesus Christ and a relationship with Him - you will go to Hell. It will be your choice. You will be separated from God in a place called Hell - it will be your second death. If you "confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Saved from what you might ask? From sin/self - you will have Eternal Life. Blessings.

You'll be fine. Listen, if you talked down to me and stole a loaf of bread from my fridge, I'd be pissed but I sure wouldn't send you to hell even for a second.

Now I'm just some regular guy... I think a loving God and Jesus would be able to have a sense of humor about such things and cut you some slack.

It sounds to me like you have a brain and are thinking. I think we need people like that in heaven.

Take care and keep using your head.

Are you atheist? If you are I may have some good news!

Every religion in the world today states that if you do not believe in that religions specific God then you will spend eternity in Hell, or some form thereof. So, if Muslims don't believe in the Christian God then all Muslims go to Hell. If Christians don't believe in the Muslim God then all Christians are doomed to hell. Well if this is the case, isn't everyone that belongs to any religion going to go to Hell? They sure don't believe in the other religions God. They only people that don't seem to be damned for eternity are atheists.

I feel sorry for you, my friend. And by the way, we Christians never threaten anyone. All we do is spread God's word. They are not our words, but His. If you don't repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you will get a first hand experience with hell. Again, these are God's words and not mine. God bless

Obviously you are making this up as you are mixing different things from different faiths together...

If you had communion at a mass, you were in a Catholic church... If you were 'saved' you were Protestant...

In mass, no one would look at you funny if you had communion without having been baptized....

as for christians and dire threats of hell, that is only for god to decide. Not jesus, the preacher or others in church. It might surprise you to realize they really have absolutely no power over your ultimate destiny. Weather you toddle off to heaven or hell is not up to them.

The ball is in your court. Why would you want to go? You obviously have a guilty conscience... Why hold back? Jesus loves you, and can wash those sins away. Just go to Him and ask.
