I was eating a Double Chocolate Muffin with Chocolate chips,, and it occured to me.. can people die from too many orgasms? I mean, really... So much goodness.... it feels like my heart's about to EXPLODE!!! I mean,,, REALLY.. iT's THAT GOOD... but still.. can someone die from having So MANY orgasms at the Same Time?... or is it just diabetes?

To answer your question, I researched what causes orgasm. Orgasm results in the release of the hormone prolactin. While it's primary function is to stimulate mammary glands to produce milk, it has another effect. It provides the body with sexual gratification after sexual acts. The hormone represses the effect of dopamine, which is responsible for sexual arousal, thus causing the male's refractory period. The amount of prolactin can be an indicator for the amount of sexual satisfaction and relaxation. Unusual high amounts are suspected to be responsible for impotence and loss of libido.
Prolactin is released to counter dopamine, which is the hormone responsible for sexual pleasure.
In either case, too much or too little of these hormones don't cause death. They do lead to some other health side effects though. You know what they say about too much of a good thing. ;)

If you have heart disease or super-high blood pressure you could die from too many orgasms. That's why the commercials for ED medications like Viagra and Cialis say "Always consult your doctor to ensure you're physically healthy enough for sexual activity."

I think that you may be safe from any danger of dying.
