i have a guy that i like but my mom don't what do i do because he is perfect. he plays colleage football player and he is a crimal justace major i dont get whyshe don't like him we are only 2 years apart.. he treats me good and make me laugh and happy what more could she want but my dad like him and i think in love with him but mom don't see that...and i am 17 and he's 19 and a freshman in collage

make up a guy with a name like thorn or something
talk about him with your mum casually
tell her he's got a criminal record/motorbike/50 studs on his face
then a few days later tell her you might leave your guy for him
go out as if you were goining to do this and come back in tears telling your mum you had forgotten guys were so stupid and mean since you met your guy cos he's so nice/considerate/caring compared to all the other guys
and she should see that he's great and she'd much rather you were with him than the made-up guy

You Mom doesn't like him because she knows he's only interested in getting some poon....he's too old for you right now...your Mom can see it maybe you should step back and ask yourself why is this guy interested in me...he's in college....surrounded by college chicks and wants to date a 17 year old...doesn't sound right to me either....your Dad is smart too...it's not that he likes him...trust me...no father likes any guy that dates his daughter....it's more like he knows if he fights you on it you'll only be more determined to date this guy.

Parents are always concerned about the partners that their kids date. Your mom is not dating the guy, she should let you make your own decision about who to date
