That some who call themself Christians jump all over Catholics siting Old Testament Scripture but, in the next breath say Jesus did away with all the Old Testament stuff like Commandments?

there are many who take only parts of the BIBLE which support their own views and do not continue to read the next few verses or chapters. everyone can find individual verses in the BIBLE to support anything. yet finding entire chapters or books may turn out to be an entirely different proposition.

I hear you! It gets confusing and I think a lot of people just pick and choose from the Bible to try and prove their own beliefs. I guess the standard idea is that Christ fulfilled the law of Moses (all of the nit-picky stuff about oxen, etc.), but that the ten commandments still stand.

You don't have to use the old testament to prove that Catholics are wrong.
