If you had researched this breed first you would have found out that chihuahuas are notorious for making potty training mistakes.
Like all toy breeds, their bladders are very small & can't hold very much urine, so they must be brought outside or to their puppy pad every 2 hours & right after eating & before bed time.
Try crate training as well. Most dogs will not mess where they sleep, unless they have been left their for too long & fix your dog if its not already spayed or neutered cuz dogs who aren't fixed tend to pee a lot more indoors & even sometimes on purpose.
This can be fixed with patience & care.
Good Luck!

Dogs are not stupid like people and they will do what they are shown to do, they will do as they are trained to do.
You need to take her for constant walks and praise her when she does good because dogs are our best friends and thrive on our constant approval.
Skip the training gimmick and spend more time with her she will be a better friend to you and she will stop pooping on the floor.
Kicking an animal is against the law and you can be incarcerated (locked up) and fined.
No animal deserves to be abused so if you do feel like hurting her you should give her up to a more caring person and I guarantee she will not use there floors as a wash room.
The best way to punish a dog like a person is to give them the silent treatment this only works first by showering them with attention.

I know your frustration!! I have a small toy breed that will not use the bathroom outdoors (have doggy door) while I am away. He has been confined to his kennel, has potty pads and even a doggy door to use but to no avail he still uses the house as his own personal bathroom! Yes at times I get very upset but he does bring more joy than aggravation. He mainly uses the bathroom to punish me for not staying at home with him all day long! Good Luck!!

I litterbox trained my yorkie/chi mutt. I used the methods found on this site and started when I got her at 8 weeks of age. She's now almost 5 months and very rarely has accidents.
http://www.kturby.com/litter/litter.htm
Photo 19 was the setup I initially had with kennel large enough to house bed and litterbox. She now has the run of one of our bathrooms while we are away with her water dish, travel kennel, and the litterbox in the far corner. When we're home she has the run of the house with exception of bedrooms. At night, we put her back in same kennel with initial setup.

You're not ready to be a dog owner especially of this poor chihuahua. Find someone else to care for her. You should never physically hit a dog no matter what. This will only teach her to be afraid of you and could make her aggressive.

I had the same problem with mine too, but I found out the reason is Chihuahuas are very territorial, and he was marking his territory. I still have been unable to potty train him, and kenneling him when we are not home is the only thing that works.

you just have to work with her. put her on a schedule. THey have really small bladders. It takes time. THey are actually one of the easiest dogs to be trained if they are worked with properly. If it is too much for you to handle then you should give he rto someone who can take better care for her.

u need to start confining her to a smaller area so she will first learn to use a pee pad or a litter.... when you do this they wont want to saturate the clean area they use to play in or sleep in. when she starts getting the hang of using the right area then upgrade her.

It sounds like you are not a very good pet owner. Sell the dog or give her to a good family.
