Most internet dating services charge its customers anywhere from $30 to $50 a month. I'm currently a member of a 100% free service, and I don't get a single e-mail in my inbox (except from ONE person, with whom things just didn't work out).

Not that I can't afford it, but why should I pay someone for the POSSIBILITY of meeting the love of my life that is just as improbable as all other walks of life I've taken? What would I be paying for? Why would I be paying them for their services without a garuntee of results or product?

Half the people on the free sites are fakes, or are not active. Pay sites have more active people cause they want to get here monies worth.
