No He came to Fulfill the Law...

Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.

From the OT...

Isa 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

Hos 11:1 When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.

Isa 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Isa 11:2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
Isa 11:3 And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.

Isa 22:22 "Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.

Isa 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.
Isa 28:17 "I will make justice the measuring line And righteousness the level; Then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies And the waters will overflow the secret place.
Isa 28:18 "Your covenant with death will be canceled, And your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, Then you become its trampling place.

The Law is looked upon as a bunch of rules God gave the Israelites.
But it was not, first and foremost.
God gave the Law to help mankind identify who would be the Messiah.
Galations 3:24 according to the CEV, NIV and the NEB all state the Law was a tutor, leading us to the Christ.
That is why Jesus could say he came to FULFILL the Law (Matthew 5:17)
The CEV puts it this way:
"Don't suppose I came to do away with the Law and the Prophets. I did not come to do away with them, but to give them their full meaning."
Romans 10:4, according to the CEV says Christ made the Law no longer necessary.
The NIV says Christ is the end of the law.
The NEB says Christ ends the Law.
So, the word 'advocate' is a bit forceful.
The Law had a purpose and that purpose was accomplished.
The Law became like a bus-transfer after you used it ....nothing wrong with it, but its served its purpose.

The web site to which you direct us was written by an agnostic with no true understanding of the Law; a quick glance through several "answers" posted there shows this.

Romans 10 (and the rest of Romans) completely explains what you are seeking. Alternatively, for a full explantion, you can go here:

and click on "The Law of Moses and the Law of Messiah."

This is quite a complex subject, which deserves a lot more of reflection and study than YA can provide.

Peace.

Jesus did not come to wipe out the law of Moses, He came to fulfill prophecy.

No, because I don't believe the bible is the word of god, it is the untruth sent by the devil to confuse people from the right way
