people always talk about god as if hes not real and as if he has done alot for just letting them live another day. they just dont know that God loves them more then anyone on this earth could ever love them and he want them to get save so the could life the rest of the life in heaven with him and with so of the answers i get on my other question im concern about there souls to

I have a problem with the goat-herding males who lied about there being a single male who was a deity over everyone and if you don't believe that (even though there's no proof), well then you can suffer eternally. They also preach not to get jealous or lie but then there are examples of this perfect being doing just that. You're then told not to marry this or that (there's a list) but Abraham marries his half-sister, there's a few cases of polygamy and fornication (called taking the wife's handmaiden after she allows it for whatever reason)
Oh. As a female, I'm very endeared by the stories of Biblical patriarchs who grant 'virgins' and little girls as spoils of war for the soldiers...and the story of how God sees Lot as a faithful man for offering his two daughters to a crazed mob, in exchange for two male strangers/visitors.
Also, this deity supposedly never regrets anything, partially b/c he's perfect, but destroys Sodom & Gomorrah, and then the whole world (supposedly)
I have no problem with something that does not exist, but followers represent the uneducated or the very hateful sexists

If "God" was so loving, why does the old testament teach of fearing God because he is a "jealous" god and a "vengeful" god. A perfect being would not smite entire cities (Sodam and Gomorrah) for enjoying pleasures of the flesh. There is nothing wrong with it so long as it is not harming others.

We talk about deity as if it is not real because there is abolutely no proof that deity is real.
Sorry to tell you this, but there is far more evidence to suggest there is no deity than to support that there is a deity.

they dont want to beleive because then they would have to make a decision one way or the other.it would cause them great stress on their physical bodies
