Billcompugeek: You obviously do not understand Buddhism at all:

"Pain is the outcome of sin"
- Buddha -

We believe that sinning hurts the sinner and casts them into a deeper state of woe. By the way, isn't it Christianity that lets you do whatever you want then achieve salvation by just having faith?

It seems to me that a victor might breed compassion and humanity if he makes peace with his defeated enemy. A victor who acts with humility and generosity having won a battle for a just cause is behaving in accordance with the teachings of the enlightened one. For he stated-

"If he (the victor) moderates himself
and, extinguishing all hatred in his heart
lifts his down-trodden adversary up and says to him,
'Come now and make peace and let us be brothers,'
he will gain a victory that is not a transient success,
for its fruits will remain forever."

Conquering self is however the only true victory.

This man named Buddha was a man who gave up his wife and children to go on some so called journey. What i don't understand is how that helped him or his family.I think that he was a great big coward who could not take care of his family so he just abandoned them.I know someone who calls himself a Buddhist and he did the same thing and abandoned his family. He says that the Buddhists believe that you should look inside yourself and what ever you find is o.k.Well does that mean if i look inside and find out that I'm a murderer that that's o.k?That's bull-crap.He was a coward who didn't know his butt from a hole in the ground.I will tell you one thing though if he didn't repent before he died than hes on his way straight to hell!
