Are there any true believers out there? People who believe the Bible, believe Jesus died for all of us to wipe our sins and bring us to Paradise? Looking through the answers I see some good ones, but more of the sarcastic, judgemental answers. Just wondering if I'm alone in this forum?

You are not alone.
I accept the Bible as accurate .....basically because I've done research.
Jesus' death was part of an arrangement, by God, to better our lives now and particularly in the future.
I agree with you that too many in this category are ridiculers.
But 2 Peter 3:3 says we should expect them.

You are not alone! I am a believer and follower of Yeshua/Jesus. I belong to a church that teaches the Bible as the true Word of God. However, like you said, I think there are very few of us and I'm not sure why. Recently there was a healing in our church of a young woman who has been blind since birth. Her eyesight was verified by an optometrist as I think she said 20-380 or something. She said all she could see was darkness and a few shadows. After prayer by the church, she received healing and her eyesight was just verified by the doctor as 20-60 and is still improving. He also verified that her optical nerve which had degenerated has now re-generated, which he said was medically impossible and could only be described as a miracle. She is studying to go and get a driver's license soon. This young woman has gone to other churches to give her testimony and it's like they don't believe her! They don't even get excited about what God has done... I don't understand... but then Jesus often said "Let those who have ears, hear"... maybe they just don't want to believe. To really believe means your life is no longer yours. Now to some, that is unacceptable, while to the believer it is the greatest of all freedoms. One horsewoman friend put it this way... When a horse is being trained, they often rebel and fight against giving in to the rider and as long as they do, they are very restricted in what they can do. But once they accept the rider, then they can go galloping across the open fields.
Hang in there! Don't be discouraged by the attacks of an ever increasingly desperate enemy who's time is drawing to a close! Yehaaa!!!!

Yes, There are a lot of believers running in the kings highway to the celestial gate of heaven, some fall, some injured, some killed, some died, some taunted, and some rejected. they are running to save themselves from the future catastrophe.

Christian are called believers before the romans called them Christian. During that time, christian can easily be recognized in any place because of the following characteristics.

1. They kissed each other as a sign of greetings and say this word "Peace in the name of the Lord"
2. They covered their head (woman) in public
3. They have peace and joy in their heart, though persecuted, they never charge their opponent, butr pray for them.
4. Man and Woman (Believers) are enjoined together to witness for the Lord not only in words but in actions.

This characteristic has been adopted by the muslim today. Why did the Christian leave this good deeds? Because of the fear of death from their captors. They hide for quite a long time about 400 years, and the spreading of the gospel was halt, and the pagan catholics mixed chrisitian teaching with pagan teachings. through the perseverance of constantine, and up to now you can witness that.

Today only those who are brave stand in the way, not thinking of their own life and safety. If you are in the middle east you can see this happening. Yet they are not harmed because the Holy Spirit is with them. besides they still babes, but God uses them for his glory.

I believe Jesus existed and was an enlightened man.

I do not believe the teachings of Jesus are the only path to God.

I believe good people who are kind and loving to others will be rewarded by a loving God. I also believe this for atheists as well. I think the good and kind atheists of the world will have a wonderful surprise in store for them.

I don't believe in ridiculing someones faith. I am just not religious and I think that religion can lead to trouble in the world if people are into it for temporal power and not for the spiritual love of God.

You're not alone, we just don't agree on everything. But you have my respect.

I have always wondered why it is so important to Christians that everyone else believe as they do. Is it because the story they are being asked to swallow (the immaculate conception, the miracles, the Resurrection, etc., etc.) is so inherently fantastically unlikely that it makes them doubt their own faith if they know that a lot of other people just aren't buying it? Why can't you just be comfortable believing what you believe in without caring about what others believe? If you're right, heaven will be a lot less crowded. Won't that be nice for you?

I am a believer. You are far from being alone.

Be strong in your Faith. I know you are only human and it can be difficult at times dealing with nonbelievers but the best thing to do is pray for them. Most often people ridicule others out of fear and feelings of inferiority.

Remember what Jesus said on the cross: Forgive them Father, for they no not what they do....

You are not alone here. The Bible is the infallible, inspired, inerrant Word of God. We can't pick and choose what we want from it. We must either accept as a whole, or reject it completely. Jesus is the Son of God, but equal with God. He died for our sins, and yes, one day He'll take us to paradise with Him. God Bless you.

sorry but a simple yes or no are hard to find nowadays.

I am pretty skeptical when it comes to the bible, i believe it has been altered so much nobody in their right minds should believe it word per word. I just try to learn the important messages, the rest is just stuff people should not take literally.

And yes i do believe in God.
