Make a list of things you like to do and have the potential to do well. Focus your energy on discovering the jobs that are best suited to your natural talents and aspirations.
For instance, if you are interested in helping others and like politics and are able to communicate effectively, you might want to take a look at studying law. If this is the case, look for work in a law office, get to understand what it is to be a lawyer. In some cases, you may be able to get them to pay for your education.
You may want to consider taking up a non-traditional trade. Sometimes I wish I had. Trades are in especially high demand and earning potential is very high. These jobs for ideal for smart dextrous people. A mastercraft person can earn top-dollar. Have you considered, cabinet making? masonry? plumbing? welding?
Get out in your community and see where the jobs will be in five (5) years. Know the market. In my experience, when we aren't able to come to a decision it's often because we don't have enough information.

Play by your interest, passion and how you see yourself in the future. You can research about specific fields and ask around. Things to consider:
- corporate ladder
- how long it takes to get what you want & how soon do u want it
- income
- benefits
- type of people
- type of job
- self-actualization
- friendship and maybe (sometimes) lifetime partner
