I don't recall a Bible verse to suggest that Christians could or should feel this way.
God did make the earth and therefore the volcanos but I think he has a lid on the tortured souls.

ahaha, thats very funny. like it, like it. i'm in my primate diversity class right now, and last week the prof was talking about how christians used to believe that the devil created monkeys and apes as a mockery of G-d's "perfect image of himself." they therefore hated monkeys because they were malicious and evil, and represented the anti-christ. what did the monkeys ever do to them?!
