Well, you're taking enough to put your liver at some risk of side effects, which can be pretty severe. I'd give my doctor a call and be honest about how much you've taken. He can give you a different med that's more effective but with less risk to you as for side effects.

If you feel fine, go to your regular doctor so he/she can check your liver function. 8 grams of acetaminophen for 5 days is a lot and may damage your liver. However, it does depend on how a patient metabolize or detoxify the drug. I hope it didn't harm you but don't do it again.

Go to your doctor and have him order a liver profile and an acetomenophen toxic screen. These labs will tell. Also, try to cut down to 4GM's a day and see if doc can't get you something better for pain. If you are not allergic to ragweed, milk thistle will help protect the liver. Make sure it is standardized to 140 mg silymarin.

If you're not totally making this up, I'd seek medical attention right away; you've greatly exceeded the toxic dosage. Even 4-6 g/day is very dangerous and may result in liver failure and death.

It puts much stress on the liver... and depending on the condition of the liver (a healthy one or not), you may need to see a doctor.
Drink two glass of water every hour to restore your liver back a healthy liver...

8 grams? that's 8,000 mg per day. Are you sure you don't mean 8 tablets per day? 8,000 mg for 5 days will send your liver enzymes soaring. You do need to see your doctor if you've taken 8,000 mg a day. You'll need to know what your AST and ALT levels.
