You may not like this answer, but here goes, It depends. Is it a male or female? Genetics play a big part in size, how big were mom and dad? Saints also tend to be slow maturing, and go through several stages were they look funny(long legs, skinny looking, with a big head) Each one hits this stage at different times, too.
Many people brag about how big their giant breed puppy is at a certain age, but it really does not matter, most really big puppies finish growing sooner, and end up smaller! It is more important that you keep your puppy growing at a slow steady rate with the right nutrition. I like Pro Plan large breed formulas, but there are many better foods out there.
As long as your puppy is the right weight for his size, not too fat, and not too thin, then he will end up getting to his full size around 3 years. Check with your vet, or breeder if you think he is not the proper weight for his frame. I have spent hours on the phone assuring puppy buyers that their puppies were doing fine, and growing properly!

Find the links to Saint Bernard. Read the breed standard. The proper size and weight of a full grown adult are clearly defined in the breed standard. An eight month old Saint Bernard is close to full grown, so that should give you a gague of where you want your pup to be.
