i have a buisness working with quaidriplegics and paraplegics with in jackson, michigan

I suspect there are many a complicated causes for this problem. I think perhaps that working with quads is not only physically demanding, but the quads I personally have worked with have some pretty severe mental and emotional issues that can make them pretty hard to get along with. It takes a special personality type to deal with such difficulties, and these 'types' are not common.

LOW PAY.
I did the home health aid thing and with a quad you really have to do alot and if you have more than one client to see in a day you have a schedule to keep.
To do your job properly it takes time. Most agencies dont allow for enough of that. Also are you reimbursing for fuel? AND Drive time?

Same thing with nursing homes you have 20 residents to get ready for the day if you did everythign you were supposed to do you wouldnt be done till midnight ...starting at 7 am. I was lucky if I got to spend 10 minutes with each person in the morning to get them up and ready for breakfast.
