I believe in both. Without God there would be no Darwin to come up the theory of Evolution. The Bible is just someones interpretation of things began. Just because they never mention dinosaurs doesn't mean they didn't exist. God created the earth and all living things. The dinosaurs didn't do anything religious so no one included them in the bible. God is not an ethereal being like a dinosaur he's a belief that lives inside you and helps you make it through the long hard days when life seems to be darkest. Jesus dying on the cross is not physical but symbolic. It's something that makes us stop and think. Who knows whether there really is a heaven up there, but at least it's something to believe in that gives people the strength to make it through each day. Especially if they've lost a loved one. It's easier to think that person has gone to a beautiful place where they can be happy, instead of just thier body going into the ground forever.

Evolution of course, it has scientific, empirical and tangible facts which support it. God is not fact, He is a belief construct. That does not mean He does not exist, it only means there is, as of yet, no tangible proof beyond writings that are centuries old which have been re-written and translated. Besides, the idea of God and evolution are not necessarily mutually exclusive, who's to say that the six days referred to in Genesis are not 6 billion or so years. One could argue a day to God is a billion years to us. Thus the creation story (I will not call it truth, my logic will not accept that) is simply that, a story to explain evolution over billions of years. The facts are, Dinosaurs did exist well before man, to dispute that is to deny evidence. We know the earth is well over 10,000 years old, to deny that would be folly. The problem with the creationist view is, it denies without reason, the very real, tangible scientific evidence.
BTW, the Born Again Christian is a good example of how many religious people don't argue with facts, just do contortions so as not to offer rational thought. The "fact" of God has never been proven, and as for the word theory, what dictionary are you using, the Redneck to English one?

God is not a 'theory', He is real.
Evolution is a 'theory', which in the dictinary means GUESS.
There never has been any proof of evolution, never will be.
And all those scientific tests in labs were done by GUESSING what the conditions were at the beginning, since they have no proof.
So, evolution is a faith-based belief, aka a religion.

Creationism and Evolution could be held with the comparable regard, or unquestionably, Creationism could be held with slightly extra regard than Evolution considering that could be a theory of intelligence and objective. Evolution rules out each thing to do with intelligence, somebody or something springing up life, and objective, that somebody or something springing up life with a objective in suggestions, leaving Evolution to be based on probability. As life types are fr extra complicated than say an airplane or a working laptop or laptop...properly, that is secure to declare that a theory invoking probability is unquestionably much less credible than one invoking objective and layout. it is easy sufficient to locate books and web pages that specify the various holes you will locate in evolution. interior of a species evolution isn't completely fake nevertheless; that is shown that organic decision works. that is been shown, and that's seen undemanding experience. that is not evidence although, or supported by ability of overwhelming data, that unmarried cellular life types, by probability and organic decision, can become extra complicated, and that is not evidence that a lizard can extra time improve wings and become a chicken, an completely distinctive species all mutually. they might substitute yet no become something new. I propose you examine the 1st link in my factors, in case you have an activity interior the subject count of Evolution vs. Creationism. that could be a truthful quantity of text cloth although that is extremely exciting and insightful. traveling the concentration on the family participants website is likewise a sturdy concept for extra training, and in case you like visuals watch the flicks Expelled: no Intelligence Allowed, by ability of Ben Stein. i'm hoping I helped you slightly or instructed you something new! God Bless, compliment God!

Uh Sean,I'll take religious theory for one thousand. The idea that two people could find each other in this big world and be soulmates are some incredible odds. But I have. What does that tell me? That there is a God,He works miracles, and I've been blessed to recieve one.
Peace....

God is not a theory. And Darwin did not come up with evolution, he came up with the survival of the fittest - which is proven to be real. Not necissarily that we all came from a unicelled organism, but that over a long period of time, some animals chage slightly to adapt to thier surroundings. King Kong is not my grandpa, the Lord is my Father.

Why are the two mutually exclusive of each other? Check main stream churches views. Fundamentalist will disagree. There is evidence for evolution but it is still coming in and as it does the theory changes to adapt to the new evidence...What we know to day may or may not hold true tomorrow...the more we know the more we realize we do not know..

I have my own theory: God gave the universe a start and science took over from there. By the time monkeys evolved into humans, Adam and Eve were the first true humans and 7 million or so years later, we exist
