OK. Here's the story: been dating this amazing guy for 2 months. Things were moving pretty fast. We've had a lot of deep conversations. Without exposing too much personal stuff I will tell you that he has strong feelings for me, but wants to take his time. Completely understandable. I'm pretty laid back and would prefer it that way too. He has a friend who has already told me numerous times in front of my guy that I need to be careful not to hurt such a great guy. Well, a few days ago I texted him and told him that he was missing one heck of a show at the comedy club and his response was "i luv u". ????? I had to leave the show and call him. He said that his friend had typed it but that he knew what he had said and that was pretty much the end of that conversation. Is he just feeling me out? I think so, but it's nice to have some input. This question seems so juvenile given our ages, but like I said, it's good to have some outside input.

Most likely he's testing the waters and trying to gage your reaction. If you laugh without even considering that there's any truth to it then he knows you wouldn't consider the possibility. If you freak out or start asking him why he would say something like that than he knows he hit sensitive spot. Guys never just joke around, they want you think that but most of time they just trying to found out if they can express interest without getting rejected.

what does it mean when a guy's friend sarcasticly says that his friend loves you? He is being Sarcastic. Depends on how he said it.

Well, then jokingly reply back that you are taken.
