No rules change.
It's the same with Basketball. The US has the most talented team, but they fail to win the championship. I think it has to do with the fact that the Americans are much more accustomed to competing against eachother, and not so much with others.
In Basketball, the players don't practice with eachother until shortly before the competition, and in Golf, frankly, Americans wins the majority of big events. It's not a team sport, its more about individual performance.
Sure Europe may beat the US at the Ryder Cup, but when was the last time a European held the #1 spot?

The Ryder Cup was traditionally (up to about 16 years ago) played between US and UK and Ireland. It then changed to include Europe. It might be an idea for the US to change to 'The Americas' and include South America. With the strength and depth of the present European team, and the great many new faces to come on the scene in the next five to ten years, I honestly believe something should/must be done urgently. But wasn't the golf brilliant - putting the result aside. And what about the K Club........... beautiful beyond description - reminiscent of Augusta and the Masters..............

I wouldn't change any rules. The tournament is set up to pit the best American talent against the best European talent. I don't know if Europeans are better at match play, or better at golf, period. My suggestion would be for the Americans to get better at match play golf. I certainly don't think the Europeans have more talent than the Americans. Maybe they're better at rising to the occasion. However, USA vs. Scotland, USA vs. England, USA vs. Spain, etc. may have considerably different outcomes.

I wouldn't change any of the rules. Both teams played under the same rules...Europe just played better than the Americans. If they play better next time, the Americans win. Simple as that.

Put more Europeans on it...ha ha...but really, it's too bad that great players like Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Vijay singh and Mike Weir can't play because they're not technically american, although they play on the PGA. Maybe it should be PGA v European PGA players

That all 12 winning players would receive one million dollars.
That should do the trick for the US to win.
