The church pastored by Fred Phelps...In my personal opinion, it will die out because its so repugnant to everything we as humans know, but knowing how strange things can catch on, I could be very wrong. How can anyone embrace their ideas?

I don't think anyone does. I think I read somewhere that all 11 members of that "church" are that man's family.
Nonetheless, people went along with Hitler's ideas, so I'm sure that there are some freaks out there that think Fred has it right. It's just too bad we can't deport people like that. Where would we send them? Who knows. Far far away.

You're much better off sticking with the Landover Baptist Church for guidance and inspiration.

To the best of my knowledge, most members of that church are members of the Phelps family.

I don't think it will live on due to the fact that the members are mostly his whacko family. Unless of course they are highly prolific. Perish the thought.

There are always groups of bigots and haters that will gladly accept his beliefs and follow that kook just about anywhere.

That's why Neo-Nazis and Klansmen still exist.
