It wasn't in the little capsule either. I also have a blank roll that was in a capsule thing, will that be usable?

despite what the other answerers say, i've done the same thing and the film turned out fine. In theory because its plastic and because of the way the negatives are fixed, the only thing that should damage them is direct sunlight or creasing/damaging the material. I suggest you try it, only because i have done it myself and it worked ok.

Both films may have blotches on them from the water, depending on how well they dried and at what temperature. Film responds to developer, not water. Go ahead and have it the used roll developed. I would use the blank roll on random things, because some parts of it may be blotchy also.

It is worth a try. Take it a wal mart or k mart or someplace with a picture perfect guarrantee.

It depends on the chemistry of the detergent and the dryer temp. The pictures will be ugly but they may have some value.

DO NOT USE the un exposed film. It is not worth the risk, unless you just want to experiment with it and take a whole roll of one subject, like your favorite rock,. and seewhat comes out/.

A roll film? Sorry I don't know what that is. OK, just messin' with ya in this digital era. You got a good answer just immediately above, but I would say to just let it dry out and take to be developed. What is it cost......3 or 4 bucks? What do you have to lose?

No, it's pretty much ruined. Get another roll of film.

Even the one in the capsule, I would replace it. You wouldn't want to use it and then take a great once-in-a-lifetime shot only to find out that roll of film was ruined as well!

same thing happened to me recently only mine went wash BC (before camera) i used it as an experiment anyways. i dont get prints made at the 1hr, i only get the negs developed as i scan negs to my pc. Purple haze man... well almost, there was purple blotches everywhere. At first i forgot that it had gone through the wash. i thought it was reciprocity failure of the film . And that was in a cold wash. If its B&W film give it a try as some like to presoak their film in water before dev'ing. but the detergent may be the killer. gooood luk kazooby

I doubt that you will be able to develope it but you can try. I would just throw away the blank roll.

I would think no. I left a roll of film in the car once in the dead cold of winter and it didn't come out.

I really doubt it sorry, you could give it a try. Develop it at Wal-Mart, if they don't turn out you won't have to pay for them. Explain to them what happened. Good Luck!

Who knows - take it in to get developed and see what happens.
