just let it go and try again later.

it works that way. every now and then someone decides to report every question for a violation of some sort.

seems like yahoo doesn't even review the reported violation unless they get a bunch on the same person/question.

what time of day did you post it? tray agin on a different day/time.

good luck

been there done that

Send a mail back to them stating WHY you dont feel you should have been reported - I think there are people on here that go out of their way to report people - I only got a violation report last night for apparently using personal reference or something in a question I answered - and a couple of weeks ago got reported coz I stood up for myself to a respondee to one of my questions.
I really think Yahoo need to take more precautions in their violations etc before taking action - its too easy to report people for no reason. I dont think you can find out who reported you though.

Maybe it was too racy for the person Yahoo has checking Q & A's....You have to admit, this job would suck....I wouldn't want to be the one who has to read and deciper this stuff....and then critique it....and decide if it's PG rated or XX rated. E-mail and ask if they can disclose who reported you, they probably won't tell because they protect everyone's rights. I've seen stuff on here that I can't believe they let it stay on here and be answered. I've also see stuff on here that I can't believe they censored it. I guess it just depends on who is rating the questions, it can't be just one person...

I got a violation notice, too. I was being critical of the persons use of the English language. They did not respond to my answer.

Some jackasssesss just report for the heck of it. I have been in a similar situation where I had a mild answer that some opposed. There is no justice....you should get know who reported you.
