Most definitely we are living in the last days. The increasing lawlessness is not just happening just to be happening. Wars, famines, earthquakes, pestilences were all prophesied thousands of years ago and we are living in the midst of all of this. Matthew chapter 24 is a great read and tells us the signs that signify the last days.
Second, someone already used 2Timothy 3:1-5. This describes greatly how we are truly living in the last days. Just some of the things that are taking place is no natural affection. At a time where the home was a safe place has turned into a house of horrors for domestic violence and child abuse victims.
Lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God. Many people put all their time into materialistic pursuits and still feel very empty. Many turn to theologians for answers, but to no avail. Betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride is prevalent too. Politicians are too greedy. They say all the right things during election time and then get greedy and only look after themselves.
Having a form of godly devotion, but proving false to its power. Many people profess to serve God, but their actions prove otherwise. The preachers can give their sermons, but molest little boys and cripple them for life. Many attend church maybe once a week and live immoral lives.
Matthew 24 mentions nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom. I do not have to explain what this scripture means. Israel-Palestine, US-Iraq just to mention a few battles. Many casualities with no bright future in sight. The political system is hopeless because they were not made to rule. (Jeremiah 10:23)
Here is just some of the many points that prove that we are living in the last days. Many people will agree that we are living in the last days, but the question is, what happens at the end of these last days?

I believe these are the last days prior the second coming of Jesus Christ. Holy scriptures teache that Satan's influence and power will be the strongest during these times bringing pestilence, natural calamities, hatred and war against all mankind. Some people interpret it as the end of mankind and the world as we know it. Christians see it as the transformation of the earth into a celestial planet where Jesus Christ reins as king over his people for a thousand years. The bible teaches that those who are not prepare for his coming will try to hide themselves between the crack or crevices of mountains because they could not endure the majesty of his presence.

Absolutely! We are about to experience a worldly catastrophe. Not only biblical but if you notice the elements of the earth are changing. We are melting the polar ice caps, we are using all of our natural resources, the northern lights are disappearing! All of these occurrences are defiantly signs of a major shift of who will remain on the earth or should I say what...

Bible prophecy hasn't been wrong about one thing. The signs of the times indicate yes. My personal view (among many)----This IS the generation.

No, but these are dangerous times indeed. mmm come to think of it. Has there ever been a time when it hasn't been dangerous? So I guess the world has been ending for the last 4,000 years of recorded history. Go figure.

Yes,
2Ti 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.
2Ti 3:10 ¶ But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
2Ti 3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of [them] all the Lord delivered me.
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

We've been living in the "last days" for roughly 2,000 years now! :) We're still in them and we will be until Christ returns - however only God knows how close we are to that event....

Of course we are in the last days. There may be 173 billion days left, but it's the last 173 billion.
