I am a Buddhist, so I have no god. I neither believe nor do I disbelieve, at this time it is impossible for us to know either way.

"Believe nothing.
No matter where you read it,
Or who said it,
Even if I have said it,
Unless it agrees with your own reason
And your own common sense"

Christianity accepts the existence of other gods:-

Psalm 82, CEV

When all of the other gods have come together, the Lord God judges them and says:

"How long will you keep judging unfairly and favouring evil people? Be fair to the poor and to orphans. Defend the helpless and everyone in need. Rescue the weak and homeless from the powerful hands of heartless people.

"None of you know or understand a thing. You live in darkness, while the foundations of the earth tremble.

"I, the Most High God, say that all of you are gods and also my own children. But you will die, just like everyone else, including powerful rulers."

Do something, God! Judge the nations of the earth; they belong to you.

Any God who is claimed to be Perfect Love, but yet also is defined to have Perfect Hate, (which is neatly tucked into a box that defines it as Mercy) isn't one that I want to claim.

Simple. I've created my own God in my own image! Why should I take the one any other person has fashioned after their own prejudices? Mine is beautiful enough for me.

personally, i dont believe in any gods.
but,
most people reject other gods because they believe in what they were raised to believe.
they're so into their religion that they cant believe anything else.
for example,
the terrorist attacks on NY, they did it because they believed it would take them to a higher place.
and the fact that they were brain washed.
