Granted not ALL believers are brainwashed, but quite obviously SOME are.... people always get mad when atheists and agnostics say believers are brainwashed... when there are things such as what that Jesus Camp movie shows going on in this world, how can you not expect people NOT to think that?

Every time I hear about that movie, I cringe. My heart just sinks for those poor children.

Jesus Camp is definitely freaky. Living in the same city as Jerry Falwell, there is a whole demographic of people here who seem very much like they are brainwashed. They vote the way he says, eat where he eats, smile like he smiles, but some of us are fairly intelligent and know things about other religions and are not trying to assimilate you into our collective. I think that forcing my Christianity on anyone is actually unBiblical. When people decided against Jesus' teachings, he didn't start waving around judgement and death, he just continued loving them and was open for any questions they had.

I have been at those camps, and I have seen those kids love jesus and love life. It's not brainwashing, it's teaching the truth. Once you realize the truth, you will realize that we are teachers, not brainwashers. It is true. There is a war going on, and it's for the kids' souls. Now we dont want them to lose, do we?

It is wrong to categorize or "pigeon hole" people. The bashing on BOTH sides is immature and shows ignorance and immaturity. It is not a way to sway people.

If people were not brainwashed, there would be no institutionalized, organized God belief.

ALL Jews, Christians and Muslims are brainwashed.

Agnostics' brains are still on spin cycle and we're not sure how they will come out.

I suppose the use of language "some not all" is neccessary for political correctness.
