Start with walking, build up to jogging. Jogging burns lots of calories.
Just realize that you can't burn away a lot of fat FAST -- it will take time. So be patient and KEEP AT IT and you will see results. Take the long view, not the short view! Good luck.

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

You can do what I'm doing right now and it gives good results. I usually have a busy schedule so can visit Gym only in Evenings, and I normally don't exercise more than an hour, but My flab has reduced over the past 3 months on a simple exercise regimen that I strictly followed:
1. 10-minute cycling
2. 15-minute to 20-minute treadmill
3. 5-minute jogger
4. Pole exercises (5-10 minute)
5. Swivelling chairs (5-10 minute)
6. Thigh Press (inner and outer) - 25 count each
7. Leg Press-This is the best exercise of all, and really burns up soaked fat in abdomen and lower areas. It basically entails sitting, with your feet pressed on a support, and you pulling weights. I started with 20 pounds, I do 50 pounds today. I started from 4 minutes per day (approx. 50 count) to 10 minutes today.
Man, after all these exercises, I really stink when it sweats. The sweat's all over my body.
Get back home, and a hot, steam bath really pampers your muscles, and you feel reenergized. I can't describe this feeling. It's heaven.

For overall cardio swimming is really the best. It requires all of your muscles to work and is a very low impact way to work out. Outside of the water, interval training works wonders as well. You have to get your heart rate up and maintain it so moving from one excercise to another will little to no breaks does this. It will also help step up your metabolism allowing you to better burn fat while not excercising. You don't need weights anyway although it nevers hurts. Moving your own body weight first should be everyones first step. Push-ups, squats and sit-ups can be just as usful without weights and simply put, if you can't move your own weight, then why would you be trying to move extre weight?

don't do any heavy / fast stuff if you have mega fat.
Reduce the mega fat by eating good stuff so that you are in 150-180s , then do the Cardio. Honey + lots of water early morning should burn some fat.Dring more water during the day and eating seasome seeds also should help.Stay away from burgers/cheese/cows/pigs
Yogurt is good so is flaxseed & cranberry juice from TJ.

The best cardio are activities that you enjoy, this way it will be easier and more fun to workout, which means you will do it more often and for longer periods of time.
Running in the park, playing tennis with a friend, riding a bike, swimming laps, taking a dance class, etc. are all great fun cardio workouts.
Good luck!

The most effective way to burn fat is "sprint drills." Here's how it works: First, choose a cardiovascular exercise you like to do, like jogging, cycling, swimming, rowing, etc. After stretching and warm-up, do a 30-second "sprint" followed by 90-120 seconds of low-pace exercise (not as slow as a walk, more like a slow jog). Repeat this 8-12 times. As you get used to it, you can increase the sprints to 45 seconds and shorten the low-pace legs to 60 seconds, or you can do more reps. Just don't do this or any other type of cardiovascular exercise for more than 30 minutes at a time -- you risk burning muscle instead of fat if you do.

The best cardio exercise to burn fat is anything dealing with HEAVY leg workouts. For some reason, this really gets the metabolism flowing! My suggestion is spinning class. I was able to lose 25 pounds in 2 months doing that and stairmaster with a light diet. (and I wasn't very fat to begin with)

Cardio-kickboxing is a really good way to burn fat, but it's hard. . You can also try spinning bike or aerobics. I don't know if you're like me, but I can't excersise on my own, I always have to join a class, it's more fun to do it with other people and to have instructos that can guide you. If you don't have any experience doing excersise, it's better for you to join a class, otherwise you might end up hurting yourself.
Personally I love martial arts.

Jog with a partner. Exercise with a partner. You work twice as long when your mind is connected to someone else and not on how much further you have to go. Plus they can help you diet (which is the front line to cut away the mega fat). You tend to be more active if you have a partner than sitting alone prone to junk food temptation.
