Using the internet, and yahoo answers as an example, is this the turning point in the history of humanity, where we as a planet will return to the state of being as we were 6000 years ago, before the invention of religion and the God hypothesis, since these arenas are where reason and logic will dominate and disprove the God hypothesis?
Is this an equilizer since there is no fear of retribution here, that reason is allowed to run rampant, unchecked?
Do the people who believe in the God hypothesis fear this change, fear losing the control they have over their fellow human being.
Are the bells of freedom and reason ringing?
Do you hear it?
Ring.
Ring.
Ring.
The time of the God hypothesis is over. We shall overcome.

With all that Christianity has endured over the past 2000 years I highly doubt that the Internet is gonna wipe it away. You'll see the end of Christianity When the world is coming to an end, by God's will. Unfortunately for you, I won't be here for you to gloat about it.

You are correct in one thing. The time of God HYPOTHESIS is over.
The time of the truth of God is picking up momentum.
Your time of twisting the truth about God is quickly coming to an end, and the truth will soon be revealed to all.
Choose you this day who you will serve.
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Personally the inter-net has allowed me to explore ideas with abandon. It has changed me. But some will forever cling to the old beliefs. The inter-net is a tool not an entity.

Nostradamus said the world would get "smaller". Some think
that refers to instant communications technology. Yahoo
Answers may indeed be the way intelligent people get together
and find the balance between belief and reality.

Actually, I enjoy healthy debate. If your religion can't handle skepticism then it is not worthy to be believed. Of course, we may not agree on certain issues but it's good to see people debating God. Sometimes, we all learn something.

LOL Only in your dreams! The Internet only allows more people to see just how deluded atheists really are. But then, you think God's real name is Chance. Most of us know better.

I would like to think so, but i'm afraid it will be the same jungle in here as out there! just thankful the religious extremists don't seem to be as up on computers as the rest! imagine an internet religious war fought with trojans, viruses, etc! one day, you turn on the machine and all you get are old billy graham sermons! aaargh!!!

Funny, I was thinking the opposite.
No fear here.
Sorry you may be getting a busy signal but keep trying.

But please, stop calling it the "God Hypothesis". A hypothesis is testable. God is just a Guess, and a bad one at that.
Bad enough Christians keep professing their belief in evolution by calling it a theory then denying evolution...
