I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and my baby is breech, last week i went in for a version where they tried to turn the baby and induce my labor but she wouldn't turn and I really got my hopes up. Since then I have lost my mucus plug, been bleeding, and having really painful contractions. Then i found out that they wouldn't be able to do my c-section until the day after my due date unless I went in to labor on my own because they are too full, i cant feel like this for16 more days, i tried the nipple stimulation and it caused my contaction to get worse but they never regulate, should i try castor oil, or any other suggestions?

i hate to say this but wait until they can fit you in,because if you messed about with castor oil and got started and then there were a few more emergency cesaers happening and you had to wait and something happened then you would only have yourself to blame,so please wait ,i have seen the chaos of emergency c sections and some nasty results,and you should not be bleeding

Sounds as if you have already begun labor...sounds like your doctor or hospital isn't concerned with you or the welfare of your baby. Get to an emergency room and not the place you've been going. My friend's child almost died because of an idiot doctor trying to induce labor and then was too busy playing golf to finish what he started. But she wasn't breech. Your health as well as the baby's is at risk. You should sue those idiots.
Sounds like your baby is in distress. You don't want to be contracting while your baby is breech. YOUR DOCTOR AND IT"S NURSES ARE IDIOTS! Get away from them if you value your life and your child's life.

NO...Castor oil during the latter weeks of pregnancy stimulate the bowels which in turn causes you to dilate and this would be very bad for you and your baby...it is a very harsh process and is only used in young healthy normal birth processes...and not even then much any more..

I am a nurse. Castor oil will do nothing, nothing at all to induce labor! Only make you have bad diarrhea.

take a long walk around a track...just keep walking and you WILL go into labor...do this everyday until you feel a significant change..no castor oil....then go get an order of something REALLY spicy from taco bell...the baby will be doing flips and then go home and have sex.....sex brings on labor..good luck!

Call the DR right now, bleeding is not OK. Get your butt to the ER!
