While most girls would like guys to share insights on various topics, there are girls who love guys who are great listeners---someone who is reliable, trustworthy...a great confidant. Quiet and shy does not mean you're boring or a loser. You just need to set a common ground with the opposite sex so that you can jive with her. Catch a movie. Play computer games. Play sports. These do not require you to talk but it creates fun and friendly environment. You may overcome shyness through these avenues and get to know more people---GIRLS!
Separately, about the success criteria...Define successful. If you mean great career and lots of moolah, then not all women goes for that. But it doesn't hurt if you have those either. Women go for confident men---those who know what they want and are doing something to better their lives. It would be great if you can save moolah and invest it wisely. Having direction in life impress women more than having money but no plans/directions for the future...

successful ppl are not necessarily talkative.
what's matter most is the manner you hold urself n whether u r sensitive and considerate to gals. further gals will be able to judge ur character, depth and intelligence whenever you do speak up.
it's not about how much u talk but how do u put urself across.

Umm... I don't think anyone has to be successful to be vaguely interesting. I'm attracted to those who are interesting and fun to hang out with.
Sometimes I talk with shy people, and if they're interesting and fun then I remain friends with them. ;))
Is your question pertaining to "looking for a lifemate" as to who you're talking to? Perhaps you change that idea and just meet people just for "friendship purposes"?
