I think that is great you want to do that but considering that your cat doesn't care for the leash neither of you would probably enjoy this much. I had been considering doing something that you may want to think about, get you some play sand or some of the real stuff if you can find a small bag and set up the sprinkler or kiddie pool and get you a radio and some drinks and pretend it is the beach. That way your cat can play freely, no one else will have to walk on the sand and your cat and you can both enjoy without having to worry about the leash or them running off.

actually it's probably not the best idea. she doesn't seem to be very comfortable with the harness and leash and how are you going to keep her from going to the bathroom in the sand. are you going to bring her own litterbox and watch her closely so she will use it. you won't be able to relax and enjoy the beach if you bring her there.

maybe if there was a way that you can buy a big cage, and be able to take the bottom off because i'm afrad if u just leave her/him alone it might run away. Or maybe u can just hold her and walk her through the sand like a baby, u know what i mean? I dont know what else to think, but if i think of something else i will let u know...

I am sure that's what your cat sits around all day and dreams of. "I wish I was at the beach." If the cat can read, then you can probably make a hell of a lot of money off of that alone. Then it can get its own private jet and tour the world. Fancy Feast anyone?

sounds liek she is saying no to the great outdoors, listen to her. i have heard of rare cats who like beaches but most prefer the quiet life. cats can get burned on the skin areas like nose and paw pads and ears so ask vet about protection safe to use on cats if you are exposing to a unshaded area such as a beach.

It sounds like she really hates the leash so she probably won't
co-operate no matter what. Then she'll be mad at you for a while.
Cats are like that. It can't really hurt to try it once, though, who knows?

Bad Idea. It's OK to do things like that when they are kittens and let them get used to it. To try it on and adult cat will likely be a bad experience for both of you.
